We’re Tim and Julia. On slow days, we make things.
A professional furniture maker by trade, Tim creates small-batch, playful, functional pottery in his downtime, along with the odd wooden object.
Julia spent ten years as a curator of vintage clothing, and her love for colour and natural fibres now informs her exploratory, often improvisational patchwork designs, made using a mix of remnants, reclaimed fabrics and plant dyes.

The design shown is a custom-made 24×24” wall quilt composed of traditional Sawtooth Star blocks. Each block is made with remnant cotton and linen, all secondhand and/or naturally dyed. The quilt is bound on cotton batting lovingly hand quilted with sashiko cotton thread, and fitted with a sleeve and dowel for easy hanging.
